What is the correct age to start?

Oz: I taught students who had 9 years old to build a game in a week. So, it is more a question of how passionate the person is about making a project.

Can you teach my child to code?

Yes, we can! Tell them that you found someone who can teach them how to make video games or mobile applications, and show them our portfolio of games. If this does not create enough excitement, you should contact us for other materials that could help : )

Please remember that for participants under 18 years old, you would need to take a more active part in filtering the communication on the Club chat group. We are giving this much attention, but just to be sure. By the way, a project made by both parent and child is significantly more engaging for the child (proven). So consider to dedicate time for both of you!

Professionals

I am a professional game developer. How can this club be useful for me?

Every professional has something they still did not learn or master. Some of us are skilled with UI, others with implementing art, game mechanics, server-side multiplayer, optimization, releasing to the store, monetization, etc. We all need something eventually. The group is about getting answers easier and faster.

Think of this group as another "asset store" for Unity. We would have content that we made ourselves but does not really fall under the categories of a plugin, but still worth sharing.

I am a project manager. How will this be useful for me?

Get to know your team, and what type of problems they are facing. If you are able to "speak their language", you will be able to convey your messages more effectively. We would recommend you to actually build a project yourself to feel how the system works.

Moreover, we would offer content and assistance in pricing projects and planning them, working with git versioning and more professional work methodologies.
